Major Accomplishments
MCG 4100 Undergraduate Thesis: Winner of the “Best Innovation and Commercial Application” award and helped the University of Ottawa win the Foulkes Trophy at the 2006 Annual Student Papers Night, held by the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO). Researched and wrote a thesis on the cooling of computers in hot and dusty environments, as well as constructing a working model which is absolutely silent, outperforms conventional cooling systems, and does not require any moving parts such as fans or pumps.
MCG 4322 CAD/CAM: Designed, analyzed and constructed a fully parameterized 3D virtual model of a utility tractor capable of diverse tasks such as snow removal, grass mowing and trench digging. Also compiled a C++ program and Graphical User Interface which allows a client to alter the dimensions of the 3D model, in SolidWorks, based on: Horsepower, Width and Height.
